Our matcha tea is source directly from the Suizawa are of Yokkaichi city (Mie prefecture).  The Suizawa area is a very good place to make high quality tea because it’s located at the base of Suzuka mountains which attracts a lot of rain, has rich riverbed water with well-drained soil as well as lots of fog; even in summer. People have made tea in this area for over 170 years.
