A mix for gluten-free oat-based slices containing gluten-free oats, sultanas & dried apricots
Ingredients:
100% Gluten-FreeĀ OATĀ Flakes (50%), Soft Light Brown Sugar, Sultanas (13%), Apricots (8%) (apricots (94.8%), rice flour, preservative: SULPHUR dioxide)
Allergens - In bold capitals
Made in an environment where other allergens are present.
Method:
Pre-heat oven to 160Ėc/140Ė fan/Gas 3.
Melt 125g butter in a pan on a low heat, turn off heat and add the packet contents and 2 tbsp syrup.
Mix well. Press into a 22cm square lined tray with the back of a spoon and bake for 20-25 minutes until the edges start to crisp (it will still be soft).
Leave to cool but slice whist still warm. As it cools it will harden.
